Q: Where do I pick up Neighbor tickets, and Community-Funded tickets to GTP North (Havemeyer Field) or GTP South (Roger Sherman Baldwin Park)?
A: It is greatly encouraged to pick up tickets in advance of May 24th at Greenwich Town Hall, 101 Field Point Road. Tickets can also be picked up at each venue the day of the event at Will Call. However, in order to avoid long lines, it is recommended that all ticket purchasers pick up tickets at Town Hall. Tickets will be available for pick up Tuesday, April 8th – Friday, April 18th: 10am – 2pm. Starting on Tuesday, April 22nd, Tuesdays and Thursdays only: 10am – 2pm.
Q: What form of identification is required to pick up tickets?
A: A valid state or federal issued photo ID with a Greenwich, CT address, i.e. a Connecticut Driver's License or ID Card, is required to purchase or pick-up tickets. For Greenwich business/organization owners and employees; a Corporate ID Card, a pay stub or a letter from the Greenwich business/organization on official letterhead will be acceptable forms of identification.
Q: Why are there 2 venues this year?
A: After selling out in under 4 minutes last year, a second venue was added doubling the size of the party. This year, more of Greenwich can come together to celebrate with friends, families and neighbors.
Q: Are Neighbor tickets (face value) tax deductible?
A: The Greenwich Town Party Inc. is a 501(c)(3) Organization. The tax deduction for the Neighborhood ticket is limited to the excess of your contribution over the fair market value of any goods and services received in exchange for your donation. The estimated value of goods and services is $175 per ticket. Consult your own tax advisor as to the proper tax reporting for state and federal purposes.
Q: Can seniors get discounted tickets?
A: Yes, seniors are eligible for reduced price tickets to GTP North (Havemeyer Field) and/or GTP South (Roger Sherman Baldwin Park).
Q: Can kids come for free?
A: Yes, kids 12 and under can come for free, but must have a “free” ticket, which allows us to keep a headcount. There are children's activities from 10 AM to 2 PM.
